Welcome to Fig Forest Farm, nestled in the deep piney woods of East Texas.  Our passion is miniature dachshunds; our goal is to raise healthy, happy, well-adjusted puppies that conform closely to the AKC standard.  Our dogs are raised with optimum health in mind; good nutrition, sunshine, exercise and mental stimulation along with lots of love produce wonderful pets and companions for others to enjoy. 

Our homestead has over 100 areas of what we like to call "weenie dog wonderland", a setting where the dogs can enjoy life to the fullest. Every day is an Olympic Event for the dogs!

We have carefully selected our breeding dogs from breeders across the USA in order to produce puppies that are healthy and that conform as closely as possible to the AKC Dachshund Standard.  

As a veterinary technician with over 25 years of experience, my knowledge and background in veterinary medicine helps to ensure that our dogs are raised in the healthiest way possible.  My puppies are examined by my veterinarian before going to their new homes.
